A friend who had a military museum found two M-P Ford Model T bodies strapped to a pallet under a porch on the north side of Indianapolis many years ago. One was sold, the other assembled and mounted on an appropriate chassis. The vehicle was traded to the USMC Museum and is on exhibit. The same body might have been used for ambulances. The wood was in very fine condition. Only one board was unusable.

1934 FORD A - Keith Ernst - Martin-Parry?
Vehicle Year: 1934
Body Style: Pickup
Chassis Manufacturer: Ford
Engine Manufacturer: Ford
Engine Year:
Engine Number:
Vehicle Location: Orwigsburg, PA
Name: Keith Ernst
About the Vehicle: I recently also purchased a 1934 Ford with what I believe has a Martin Parry canopy express cab and body. From what I read, General Motors had bought out MP in 1930 and shuttered most of the York plant at that time, although a portion of the plant continued to operate into the late 1930's. My question is then, I guess it would be possible to have a Ford with one of their cabs and body installed after the GM takeover. Thanks, Keith Ernst
